Wear it Blue for World Diabetes Day, Thursday 14th November
Did you know that around 11,000 school-aged children live with Type 1 Diabetes in Australia?
That’s more than one child per school!
To contribute to diabetes awareness and support those affected by the condition, students are encouraged to “Wear it Blue” on World Diabetes Day – Thursday 14th November. The official colour of diabetes awareness is blue, and students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation and wear blue clothing or accessories to show support.
There will also be a “guess the jellybeans” competition, where students donate a gold coin to guess how many jellybeans are in the jar (located at the office).
All money raised will go towards the Type 1 Foundation.
EPS Colour Run Weds 18th December
We’re already three weeks into our fundraiser, and the excitement is still building! Through your efforts so far,
we have raised over $16 000 to go towards our visual art and play spaces!
We still have a way to go if we want to beat the whopping $36 391 we raised last year, so keep it up!
Thank you so much to everyone who has created their student profile. If you’re yet to do so, sign up at funrun.com.au
