REMINDERS
Play expectations on the oval – We are very proud to have such an active community here at EPS. Currently being in the depths of the AFL and NRL seasons, our students love to play footy and rugby on the oval. At school, we expect that no tackling is to occur for any games. Our classroom teachers and teachers out on yard duty reinforce this expectation and we would love parent support with this too.
We have lots of students playing straight after school which is brilliant to see! The team at EPS would greatly appreciate families supporting the no-tackling expectation on school grounds, to minimise confusion.
Teacher absences – We have been hit with a bout of sickness within our staff at the moment. With the teacher shortage across the state, you may find that your child’s grade may be split across the remainder of the cohort or Junior/Senior school.
The benefit of a split grade is that for that day your child is taught by a staff member of EPS that knows our teaching approaches and is a familiar face to your child.
MND Big Freeze
Our MND Big Freeze event will take place on Tuesday 18th of June (Week 10).
The event kicks off at 2.45pm and we welcome you all onsite to come and enjoy the festivities.
A BBQ will also be put on by our EPS Community subcommitte – pre order on the Qkr ! app

RECONCILIATION WEEK
This week has been Reconciliation Week across Australia and here at EPS. Each year level engaged in a range of activities to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements. The 2024 design and artwork represent the momentum of the theme Now More Than Ever. The chevron, a universal symbol for pointing the way, signifies advancing as one as we look towards a reconciled future.
