WHOLE SCHOOL PRODUCTION – PIRATES OF THE CURRYBEAN THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH
We are very much looking forward to our whole school production this coming Thursday evening at the
Robert Blackwood Hall located on the Monash University Clayton Campus. The whole school along with patrons of other events at Monash will be looking for parking during our arrival time so please make sure you allow plenty of time for traffic and finding a park.
ARRIVAL TIME: Students need to arrive in costume and makeup at 6pm and will be directed to the student only entrance at the foyer.
PARENTS: The main entrance is for parents only. You will have time to mingle in the foyer, grab a refreshment and a free program and take your seats promptly for a 7pm sharp start time.
At the conclusion of the show, I will outline the sign out process for collecting your child.
We do ask for patience during the sign out period. Our priority is to make sure each child is safely signed out to a parent/carer. This will be a longer process than the sign in. Please factor in this wait time for the end of the evening.
YEAR 4 CAMP
Our Year 4s had a wonderful time attending their first camp at Camp Manyung earlier this week. A big thank you to Mr Nathan Pearson for all of his organisation, our Yr 4 teachers and our amazing parent volunteers. The students showed great determination completing the challenging camp activities including the ropes course and the giant swing!
UPCOMING CURRICULUM DAY
The day after the production we will be having a curriculum day. Students are not required onsite this day. Our teachers and Education Support staff will be completing Module 2 of our Berry Street training. The domain focus is relationship building and fostering the strong social interactions that students, staff and parents have within the school context.

Working Bee – Thank you!
Last Sunday we had our first working bee since pre-covid times. It was fantastic to have 30 parents/carers and some staff along with some of our EPS kids come and work on improving our school grounds for a couple of hours. Many hands allowed us to complete a range of tasks including: general weeding, gardening and tidying up, tending to our Veggie garden, removal and disposal of miscellaneous items around the school and the clearing out of the cargo shipping containers. The Buildings and Grounds Subcommittee are so appreciative of the turn out and truly thank the volunteers, we couldn’t have done it without you. Our next Working Bee will take place after school on Friday 15th November (3.30 – 5.30pm). More information to follow next term.
