WHOLE SCHOOL PRODUCTION – PIRATES OF THE CURRYBEAN THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH

WOW! WOW! WOW!

What a fantastic performance of Pirates of the Currybean from our students last night. It was a fantastic showcase of all of the hard work they have put in throughout the last few months. It was so wonderful to see our students shine on the stage and to witness them come off stage after their performance with faces beaming with excitement and pride!

Our main cast was just outstanding. Giving up months of recess and lunch breaks to rehearse and bring the story together. It was pleasing to see that many of their gags hit the mark and the laughter from the audience boosted their confidence.

The class dances were full of colour and energy. It is very clear that our EPS kids love to perform!

For those in attendance, we did some formal thank yous on the night and will have an extended presentation at our Whole School assembly at the end of term, but a massive shout out must go out to our Performing Arts teacher Craig Heywood! His dedication and enthusiasm to allow our students to shine was a delight to witness. Craig was supported by the Production team consisting of , Ash McCarthy, Claire Harden, Jacqui Miller, Nathan Pearson, Amy Cain, Lucinda Lemhstadt, Hayden Callahan, Emma Ruwoldt and Lisa Haines and Bec Landers.

Curriculum Day – Berry Street Module 2

While our students remained at home today recovering from their big night on the stage, our teachers engaged in full days professional development as part of our School Wide Positive Behavior Program. The focus on the day was relationship building, how we can further strengthen the relationships we have with our students and the continued implementation of consistent practices and strategies across the school.

Trivia Night – Thank you!

A thank you to all of the parents, carers, staff, and friends that came along to our Trivia Night last Friday. It was a wonderful turnout with over 100 people in attendance! It was an entertaining evening filled with trivia, games, and socialising. It was great to see the commitment of some tables with their matching outfits. The teacher table was pretty happy with their second place and we congratulate Joey Triviani taking out first place! The funds raised ($2623.60) will go towards our new outdoor eating area table settings that will be installed next term. A massive thank you to our School Council for all of their organisation, especially obtaining so many donations for prizes and auction items.
