REPORTS

Term 1 Progress Reports go live this afternoon via Compass.

Reports allow students to stop and reflect with their families about their term’s learning and future goals for the year. Reports are not just about pointing out areas for improvement, they are also a great opportunity to celebrate your child’s successes!

By recognising their milestones and accomplishments students gain the opportunity to boost their confidence and motivation. It’s all about showing your child that their hard work pays off and encouraging them to keep working to the best of their ability.

House Cross Country – Yrs 3-6

Our House Cross Country will take place form 9.30 am – 11.30 am on the first Friday of the term for our Senior school students.

This event will be held along the bike trail in Edithvale Wetlands. To accommodate different age groups, the course distances are tailored: students aged 9/10 years (born 2015, 2014) will embark on a 2km course, while those aged 11 and 12/13 years (born 2013, 2012) will challenge themselves with a 3 km distance.

We warmly welcome all parents and carers to come and support this event. Those interested in volunteering can contact Mrs. Love.

Term Reflection

It has been an amazing start to the 2024 school year. Our students and staff settled into their new classes very quickly and have formed productive learning environments.  A massive thank you to our parent/carer community for all that you do in the mornings and at home to support getting your child/ren to school so that they can have a successful day. This term we have jam-packed in lots of learning alongside NAPLAN testing for our Yr 4 & 5s, extracurricular activities including our House Swimming, Interschool Sport, Science excursions, and our Easter Harmony Day. I would like to take a moment to wish Lynda Lyons all the best as she moves on to a teaching position outside of EPS. Lynda is an important part of our school community and we thank her for the copious amounts of work she has done to support our students and families. Good luck Lynda! On behalf of the staff, I would like to wish all those who celebrate a lovely Easter. We hope our students have a great break!
