Serving the children and families of Edithvale

At Edithvale Primary School, our values of Kindness, Respect and Determination are at the heart of everything we do. These values guide how we learn, interact and grow as a community, and they underpin our strong and positive school culture.

We explicitly teach and model these values through our School Wide Positive Behaviour approach, helping students understand what Kindness, Respect and Determination look like in different settings across the school. This includes the classroom, the yard, the office and when representing our school in the wider community. By providing clear expectations and consistent language, we support all students to make positive choices and develop strong social and emotional skills.

Our values are also celebrated regularly at assemblies, where we acknowledge and recognise students who demonstrate these behaviours in their everyday actions. This helps to reinforce a culture where positive behaviour, effort and growth are valued and celebrated.

Kindness, Respect and Determination are the building blocks of what brings the Edithvale Primary School community together. It is a pleasure to see these values lived out each day by our students, staff and families.
