Developing Mutual Respect & Care for Those Around Us

Wellbeing Curriculum

Respectful Relationships is a Victorian Government initiative that supports schools to explicitly teach students the social and emotional skills needed to build positive relationships, manage emotions and show respect for themselves and others. Alongside this, School-Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPBS) provides a consistent, whole-school approach to promoting expected behaviours, teaching students what these look like and recognising positive choices. At Edithvale Primary School, these approaches are embedded across our learning program through our wellbeing curriculum and daily classroom practices. Teachers also use Positive Classroom Management Strategies to create calm, predictable and inclusive learning environments, ensuring all students feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

Supporting All Students

For learning to take place we need to ensure that every child feels safe, happy and confident within themselves - and so a huge emphasis is placed on a strong wellbeing and support program that achieves just that!

Every Child Matters

Our entire teaching staff is dedicated to the detail and we want to ensure every child achieves to their own potential.
